A few words about Zakynthos.

Zakynthos is the southernmost and third largest island of the Ionian Sea. In Greek mythology, the island is said to have been named after Zakynthos, the son of a legendary Arcadian leader, Dardanian. The pseudonym of the island is "The Levante's Fencer", which was given by the Venetians who lived in Zakynthos.

Zakynthos is an island with contrasts such as golden sand beaches and imposing rocky shores. Along with the beautiful natural landscape, Zakynthos offers to the tourist the opportunity to visit the surrounding islets such as Marathonisi in the bay of Laganas, Agios Ioannis in Porto Vromi and Strofades.
